Plan Description
The Darlington plan is a wonderful, traditional-style house plan. The exterior combines siding with stone to create a beautiful facade. A large front covered porch greets guests into the home.
Just inside the home, you'll find yourself in a 2 story entryway. Just to the left of the entry is an amazing home office, which is a must for those who work from home.
Further inside the home, the main living space is arranged in a beautiful open layout. The great room is warmed by a fireplace that has a built-in shelf to the left, and a seat to the right. The U-shaped kitchen includes a large island with a snack bar and a walk-in pantry. A door leads from the kitchen/dining area to the rear covered patio.
Upstairs, you'll find 4 bedrooms including the amazing master suite. The master bedroom lies under a trayed ceiling and has a built-in dresser. The master bathroom includes a soaking tub, his/her vanities, and a large walk-in closet. Every bedroom has its own walk-in closet. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a jack and jill bathroom.
Back on the main level, the home's side-load 2-car garage accesses the home through a convenient mud room that includes a coat closet and a bench and lockers.

What's Included in a Plan Set?
Each set of home plans that we offer will provide you with the necessary information to build the home. There may be some adjustments necessary to the home plans or garage plans in order to comply with your state or county building codes. The following list shows what is included within each set of home plans that we sell.
Our blueprints include:
Cover Sheet: Shows the front elevation often times in a 3D color rendering and typical notes and requirements.
Exterior Elevations: Shows the front, rear and sides of the home including exterior materials, details and measurements
Foundation Plans: will include a basement, crawlspace or slab depending on what is available for that home plan. (Please refer to the home plan's details sheet to see what foundation options are available for a specific home plan.) The foundation plan details the layout and construction of the foundation.
Floor Plans: Shows the placement of walls and the dimensions for rooms, doors, windows, stairways, etc. for each floor.
Electrical Plans: Shows the location of outlets, fixtures and switches. They are shown as a separate sheet to make the floor plans more legible.
